From Bootfitter to a tool brand for Bootfitting

My name is Damien Amblard, I was born in Chamonix and I have been passionate about Bootfitting for over 30 years.I started my career in specialized stores where I gained valuable expertise in the setting of ski boots.

Over the years, my work has also led me to collaborate with World Cup athletes and Freeride's biggest names (Léo Slemett, Richard Permin...), which has allowed me to perfect my skills and adapt my tools to the specific needs of each case.

My commitment to the quality and comfort of the shoes I make comes alive every day, and I am always looking for new techniques to improve the ski experience of each of my professional and private clients.

Since 2004, I have been a Rossignol and Lange ski boots technician for the World Cup and I am lucky enough to be able to prepare the shoes of some of today's greatest skiers such as Clement Noël and Cyprien Sarrazin.

In the past I had the honor of being the boot technician ofJean-Batiste Grange, Henrik Kristoffersen, Tessa Worley and even Lasse Kjus and Kjetil André Aamodt at my very beginning.

I am also a consultant for major brands and trainer in the field of Bootfitting under the name "The Bootroom".

My Bootfitter Story

The rigor and precision essential in working with high-level athletes coupled with many years of in-store experience inspired me to create a dedicated brand: "The Boot Tools".

This project was born from my desire to provide innovative solutions to improve the choice of shapes, used to stretch ski boots, available on the market. Each product that I develop is the result of authentic know-how, combining technical expertise and understanding of user expectations.

With "The Boot Tools", I am committed to offering superior quality tools and to developing over the years a catalog of unique shapes on the Bootfitting tool market.
